2024 Mercuriades: Beneva named Company of the Year and wins the Entrepreneurial prize

Quebec City, May 7, 2024—Beneva distinguished itself at the 2024 Mercuriades by winning Company of the Year and Entrepreneurial, awards that recognize the hard work that went into combining two major insurers to create the largest mutual insurance company in Canada.

After three years, the business combination of La Capitale and SSQ Insurance resulted in the creation of the largest mutual insurance company in Canada with 2.7 million members. This successful integration has allowed Beneva to carve an enviable position for itself in the market:
