Beneva teams up with OASIS immersion and La Piscine to offer innovative wellness
Presenting partner of the RECHARGER/Unwind exhibition and LA VITAMINE IMMERSIVE
Montreal, December 14, 2021 - OASIS immersion, Canada's largest immersive destination, is proud to welcome Beneva as a presenting partner for the new RECHARGER/Unwind exhibition, currently on display at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, as well as the LA VITAMINE IMMERSIVE research project. The participation of a major partner such as Beneva, a merger between La Capitale and SSQ Insurance, confirms the continued growth of this immersive space, created less than a year ago.
"The arrival of a new corporate partner of Beneva’s importance represents a major confidence booster for the project. We are truly proud that this new alliance is being built on common ground, centered on our mutual desire to contribute to the well-being of our customers, especially as we are gradually returning to a form of normalcy," said Denys Lavigne, president and co-founder of OASIS immersion. "This new exhibition is generating significant buzz, and further solidifies the special place that OASIS immersion has carved out for itself in Montreal's cultural and tourist landscape," he added.
Focusing on generative arts, this second OASIS immersion exhibition aims to promote well-being, relaxation, and regeneration among its visitors. This aspiration resonates with Beneva, whose primary mission is to place people at the heart of its actions.
"We are pleased to support the RECHARGER/Unwind initiative, a state-of-the-art immersive journey focused on well-being. OASIS immersion's approach, which combines culture and innovation to benefit the community, is in line with Beneva's DNA and appealed to us immediately. We are also proud to associate our name and brand identity with this large-scale exhibition, which will undoubtedly enhance the reputation of our company in the city," said Martin Robert, Executive Vice President and Leader for Talent, Culture and Communication at Beneva.
A new mission for immersive art
Just as importantly, Beneva's involvement as a presenting partner includes LA VITAMINE IMMERSIVE research project, an innovative initiative of OASIS immersion and the La Piscine business incubator. The project aims to measure the emotional and cognitive impacts of immersive experiences and focuses on the relationship between individuals and the immersive medium, particularly in today’s context of stress and anxiety, as people prepare to resume working at their offices.
"LA VITAMINE IMMERSIVE takes immersive art beyond the realm of entertainment to better serve public, economic and health concerns. La Piscine salutes Beneva's commitment to support this approach, which aims to promote the innovation of creative talents and their societal contributions to Quebec," said Delphine Beauchamp, Executive Director of La Piscine.
More information on the next phases of the project, as well as initial results, will be shared in early 2022.
The RECHARGER/Unwind immersive exhibition will be presented until spring 2022 at the OASIS immersion space, located on the ground floor of Palais des congrès de Montréal.
