Beneva donates over $1.6 million to United Way Centraide

Internal fundraising campaign raises record amount

Quebec City, December 6, 2024—Beneva is proud to announce that its 2024 internal United Way Centraide fundraising campaign raised a record amount thanks to the generosity of its employees and retirees, and the company’s commitment to matching their generosity with a corporate donation.

"We’re very proud of the generosity and solidarity of our employees and retirees. Beneva is all about people protecting people, and this is reflected in our daily actions. True to our mutualist roots, we’re committed to fostering the collective well-being by contributing to a strong social safety net across the country," said Jean-François Chalifoux, President and CEO of Beneva.

An engaging campaign

Furthermore, for the second year, United Way Centraide honoured Beneva by including the company in its Thanks a Million recognition group, which acknowledges organizations who give one million dollars or more.

Jean-François Chalifoux is also this year’s co-chair of the Centraide Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches' fundraising campaign, under the theme Chaque don change la donne (Every donation makes a difference (This hyperlink will open in a new tab).).
