Jacques Cotton
Director
Mr. Cotton began his career in the health and social services sector, where he dedicated over 40 years of service. He served as CEO at several hospitals, including Hôpital Anna-Laberge, Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Jérôme and Cité-de-la Santé de Laval. He was later appointed Assistant Deputy Minister at the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, before becoming Deputy Minister. Mr. Cotton then served as President and CEO of the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec, before taking on his current role as Chair of the Institut de la pertinence des actes médicaux (IPMA).
At the time of the merger with SSQ Insurance, Mr. Cotton was also Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of La Capitale Civil Service Mutual. He is currently an active Director of Beneva Mutual and Beneva, where he is also a member of the Executive Committee.
