
Marthe Lacroix
Director
Ms. Lacroix holds a degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS). She is also a Certified Corporate Director (CCD).
Ms. Lacroix is a member of the Board of Directors of both Financière agricole du Québec and Aéroport de Québec. She sits on the decision-making committee of the Fonds d'assurance responsabilité professionnelle des pharmaciens du Québec, as well as the Ordre des Architectes du Québec. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and contributed to various technical committees. Until June 2024, Ms. Lacroix was also a member of the CIA's disciplinary board. A passionate volunteer, Ms. Lacroix has dedicated her time to several non-profit boards and committees in the fields of education, sports, and healthcare. She is deeply committed to respecting individuals and their rights, particularly their right to thrive in a quality and humane living environment.
Ms. Lacroix is widely recognized for her long-standing commitment to La Capitale General Insurance, where she was a member of the Executive Committee from 1987 to 2009, and later served as Executive Vice President of La Capitale Financial Group from 2009 to 2018. In 2019, Ms. Lacroix joined the Board of Directors of SSQ, Life Insurance Company and has continued to serve as a Director of Beneva since 2020. In addition, she is a member of the Risk, Ethics and IT Management Committee and the Investment Committee.
