Daniel Boyer

Director

Mr. Boyer holds degrees in Physical Education and Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal. From 2013 to 2023, he was President of the Fédération des Travailleurs et Travailleuses du Québec (FTQ). He was a member of the Executive Committee and Canadian Council of the Canadian Labour Congress for nearly 10 years and served on the General Council of the International Trade Union Confederation.

Since 2008, Mr. Boyer has been a member of several Boards of Directors associated with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, contributing to various related committees. From 2020 to 2023, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail.

Mr. Boyer’s extensive involvement with organizations such as the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, the Office québécois de la langue française and Centraide highlights his dedication to mutual values and his expertise in the field. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Beneva Mutual and has served as Vice Chair of Beneva Group since 2023. He is also an active member of the Executive Committee and chairs the Human Resources Committee.
