Julien Laflamme

Director

Mr. Laflamme holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Université de Sherbrooke. Passionate about socio-political issues, he became involved in social causes when he was a student.

Since 2011, Mr. Laflamme has been active with unions, holding various positions, including union advisor at the Fédération de la santé et des services sociaux, and union advisor and later coordinator at the CSN's Service de recherche et de condition féminine. In February 2023, he took on the role of political advisor on the Executive Committee of the Confédération des syndicats nationaux. In this capacity, he supports the CSN Executive Committee in shaping the organization's positions on key issues such as employment, social protection, immigration, the fight against social inequalities, economic development and public finances. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Chantier de l'économie sociale.

Mr. Laflamme is also Director on the Board of Directors of Beneva Mutual and a member of its Selection Committee. He also sits on Beneva's Board of Directors and is a member of the Human Resources Committee.
